Biography
Julia Aleksandra is a Lithuanian pianist, composer, and improviser whose performances redefine the concert experience. Her intuitive artistry and profound emotional depth turn each performance into a singular and transformative journey.

Her repertoire reflects boundless creativity, embracing classical and contemporary works, cinematic music, original transcriptions, improvisations, and her own compositions. These works have deeply touched audiences and earned recognition from renowned musicians worldwide.

Julia has performed as a soloist in Lithuania, Estonia, Catalonia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Spain, Scotland, Cyprus, Latvia, Siberia, and the United States (New York).


She graduated with a Master’s degree from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, studying classical piano with Prof. Aleksandra Zvirblyte. She has also graduated with a second Master’s degree from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, studying contemporary improvisation with Prof. Anto Pett. Other teachers have included Agustí Fernández, Anatolijus Senderovas, Arturas Anusauskas, Pierre Réach, and Aleksandra Juozapenaite-Eesmaa.

Julia is a laureate of numerous national and international piano competitions.

She has also participated in various international projects and festivals of classical, jazz, and contemporary improvisation across Scotland, Finland, Estonia, Germany, Catalonia, and Lithuania.



Julia represented the Republic of Estonia at the World Lithuanian Meeting in Vilnius, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the restored state of Lithuania, where she performed her own music.

During the last few years, Julia played numerous solo concerts in various cities of Lithuania and Cyprus, and Estonia. At these recitals, she also presented her new compositions and original arrangements to the audience. During this time, Julia also initiated several improvisational music projects of her own.
